Day by Day
Day 1
Pandas & Teahouse Chengdu
The Panda Base in the golden morning window, a Sichuan lunch, then People's Park tea culture and the lantern-lit Jinli lanes. Evening hotpot initiation, if you're game.
Day 2
Leshan Giant Buddha
Drive south (about 2 hours) to Leshan, where a 71-metre Buddha has watched the river junction since the Tang dynasty. See him from the river boat for the full-scale reveal, then climb the cliff path past his ear-height for the vertigo version. Continue to Emei town for the night.
Day 3
Mount Emei's Golden Summit
Cable car and mountain shuttle to the Golden Summit at 3,079 metres, where the giant Puxian statue rises above a genuine sea of clouds more days than not. Wild macaques patrol the middle slopes — hold your snacks tight. Overnight in Emei or return toward Chengdu.
Day 4
Dujiangyan or Sanxingdui, Then Home
Choose your finale: the 2,200-year-old Dujiangyan irrigation works (still functioning, UNESCO-listed) or the jaw-dropping bronze masks of the Sanxingdui Museum. Afternoon drop-off in Chengdu — hotel, airport or rail station.
Route notes: Mountain weather is genuinely changeable: we watch the forecast and can flip Days 2 and 3 to chase the clearest summit window. Hotels not included; we'll suggest good bases in Emei town and Chengdu.

How does multi-day pricing work?
One transparent day-rate per car covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's own room and meals. You pay for exactly the days you use — no hidden 'empty return' charges.
Can we change the route mid-trip?
Within reason, yes — that's the point of a private journey. Linger an extra hour at a viewpoint, swap an afternoon, add a village your guidebook flagged: agree it with your driver and our team and the plan bends.
